Hi APCUG Members

I hope this finds you having some great presentations for your group.  We just had an awesome one from Heritage Makers. They have reps throughout California so find one and see if they will come out.  It is great for people that want to make special projects with their special photos.  http://www.astorybooktoremember.com  This is a link to my representative and she could probably recommend someone if she can’t come out and do a presentation.  Another good presentation idea is to have ”how to setup your email”. There are so many people that are new to computers and they don’t always like to ask.  Have a session on how to set up Google, Hotmail, Outlook, or Outlook Express.  Show advantages and disadvantages of each one.  If you have a cable or DSL that is really popular in your area include that also.  Even “old timers” will usually learn something.

If you have any ideas for programs please let me know and I will pass them on.  The one on email came from a member in my own group, Simonne Gallagher.

One last reminder to renew your membership in APCUG. The link to the online registration form is below. You may pay your dues with a credit card or check. If paying by check, also send a copy of the completed form to the below address. The mail is then forwarded to APCUG’s administrative assistant in Ohio. If you are wondering if your group’s check arrived, please contact Lori Berenson (lberenson@apcug.net).
